The
objective of the system was to provide a secure dual door entry
system for the staff and residents who were able to come and
go at their leisure and use the three video / audio door entry
phones to interact with visitors and control access into the
building remotely.
Proximity access control system was installed on both doors
providing an external vandal resistant camera, proximity fob
swipe area, and microphone.
Installed
internally to each door is a control unit, video door entry
phone and door release.
Magnetic locks with a 1200lb holding force was used to provide
security access for both doors. An emergency door release system
was also installed on both doors.
Located in the reception area is a video / audio door entry
phone providing access to both doors complemented with the CCTV
system to assess access to the building.
A LookC 4 x 4 Digital CCTV system was installed in the reception
area with a wall mounted 17” TFT flat screen recording
up to 28 days of video from 7 Day night inferred cameras with
added value by connecting the video entry camera system into
the CCTV system providing video evidence of visitors arriving
to the property.
